Founder & President
Janisa Hu founded Onyx Strategic Solutions, LLC in 2019. As President, Janisa strives to create access and innovation through strategic consulting with the government, businesses, and nonprofits. Before creating ONYX, Janisa was Chief of Staff at a startup. She also grew her leadership skills as a fellow at a family foundation where she supported various non-profit organizations. Janisa graduated with honors from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational and Human Resources Management. She continued her education and earned a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri. Janisa centers her work philosophy on the fact that people matter. She is dedicated to improving the lives of every person who dons the uniform by providing accurate and helpful information, offering guidance, and engaging in meaningful conversations that enable our team and customers to support the warfighter.
